H.O.G. Fly & Ride The H.O.G.® Fly & Ride program is one of the truly special benefits of H.O.G. membership. When you fly into one of 41 great cities around the world (airfare not included), it allows you to rent a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle from an authorized dealer at a special rate. It's the perfect way to squeeze a little riding into a non-riding vacation or business trip, or plan a once-in-a-lifetime riding adventure in a faraway land. Reservations: All reservations must be made through the Harley Owners Group® office in Milwaukee at least three weeks in advance of the pick-up date. No reservation is confirmed until a deposit is received. The number of vehicles is limited, so make your reservations early. You must have a valid motorcycle operator's license at the time of reservation. For more information or to make a reservation, call 1-800-CLUBHOG (1-800-258-2464 - toll free within U.S.) or 414-343-4896 (outside U.S./local calls.) Insurance: H.O.G. provides liability insurance for up to, but not more than, US $300,000 per accident. You, as the renter, are responsible for the first US $1,500 of any physical damage to the rental vehicle. You must provide H.O.G. with your credit card number at the time the balance of your rental fee is due. No assessment will be charged to your card when the rental vehicle is returned undamaged and as scheduled. Insurance limits may differ in certain locations. You are subject to a US $1,000 deductible in the event of theft. Policies: H.O.G.® Fly & Ride is available to full and full life H.O.G. members (aged 25 and older). Renter must be an experienced rider and have a valid motorcycle operator's license. Most vehicles are touring models. Motorcycle rider and passenger must wear a motorcycle helmet that meets D.O.T. requirements at all times. Helmets are not provided and are the renter's responsibility. The rental vehicle will be provided with a full tank of gas and oil. Additional gas or oil required en route must be provided by the renter. The vehicle must be returned as scheduled on your contract with a full tank of gas and in a clean condition. A late fee of US $125 per day, in addition to the daily rental fee, will apply if the vehicle is not returned as scheduled. Member is responsible for paying fines, traffic violations, etc. H.O.G. reserves the right to refuse any H.O.G.® Fly & Ride rentals on an individual basis. If any cancellations or changes occur within the final 21 days before the scheduled pick-up of a rental vehicle, a US $25 administrative fee will be applied.
Questions are common regarding the differences between these two programs. In some ways, they're very similar; in others, quite different. The essential difference is this: The H.O.G.® Fly & Ride program is designed specifically as a benefit to H.O.G. members, while H-D Authorized Rentals caters more to the general public. Both programs make it easy to go thundering down the open road on a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle when your own bike is hundreds or thousands of miles away. But no matter which option you choose, you're in for a great experience: riding the great roads of the world on the greatest motorcycle in the world. No question about it.
